Michał Choptiany

Michał Choptiany is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Artes Liberales, University of Warsaw. He earned a Doctor of Humanities in Polish Philology (Jagiellonian University, 2013) and was a National Science Centre-funded postdoctoral fellow (2013–2016) for his project on calendar reform debates in East-Central European intellectual culture (1400–1700). He specializes in early modern history, focusing on intersections between science and religion, print culture, and knowledge transmission.
