Michaël Assous

Michaël Assous is a Professor of Economics at Lumière Lyon 2 University, specializing in the history of economic thought and macroeconomics. He holds an HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2007–2017) and has held visiting professorships at the University of São Paulo (2016), UNAM (2007), and Duke University (2012–2013). His research focuses on the evolution of macroeconomic theories, instability in economic systems, and the intellectual history of economists like Michal Kalecki and Paul Samuelson.
