Her work spans sociolinguistic diversification of communicative resources across genres and modalities.
Her research projects include ISF-funded studies on Egyptian Arabic discourse markers, DFG-funded network collaborations on discourse particles, and seed-funding projects on spoken Arabic prosody and cross-linguistic news response analysis. She contributes to corpus construction, including the Hebrew WhatsApp Dialogues (HebWA) and Hebrew University Corpus of Spoken Hebrew (HCSH).
Her publications explore topics such as classical Arabic tense systems, online commenting practices in Israel, and discourse markers in multilingual contexts. She collaborates internationally, notably with King’s College London and Leverhulme-funded institutions.
