Dr. Michaela Medved is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Yeshiva University’s Katz School of Science and Health. She holds a PhD in Social Welfare from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a Doctor of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Her research focuses on swallowing disorders in Parkinson’s disease, child welfare, and the application of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and surface electromyography (sEMG) in clinical settings.
