Michael Wolters is an Associate Professor in Composition at Birmingham City University (BCU), where he has been since 2004. He served as Deputy Head of Composition (2009) and currently leads the interdisciplinary MMus in Experimental Performance program, established in 2019. His work challenges traditional concert formats, blending music with theatre, performance art, and visual elements.
