Michael Winterburn

Michael Winterburn is a Lecturer in the Department of Information Technology at the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology. His research focuses on interdisciplinary topics spanning public health and information technology security. Key areas include leprosy management in Nepal, health literacy, trauma intervention strategies, and cybersecurity threats to institutional infrastructure. He has collaborated with researchers on projects addressing stigma reduction in marginalized communities and ransomware attacks on critical institutions like libraries.
