Dr. Michael Waters is an Associate Professor in Real Estate at Heriot-Watt University’s Dubai Campus. He leads the MSc in Real Estate program, the first of its kind in the region. His academic background includes a BSc in Geography, MSc in Real Estate, and a PhD in Urban Studies from Heriot-Watt University. He is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). His research focuses on valuation heuristics, behavioral psychology in real estate decisions, and sustainability in property markets.
