About
Michael Villanova serves as a Lost & Found Archival Research Fellow at the City University of New York Graduate Center while pursuing his PhD in Political Science. His academic foundation lies in political theory, and he has taught across multiple CUNY campuses including Lehman College and Baruch College.
His research spans critical theory, reactionary politics, queer theory, urban politics, and American political thought, with notable analyses of Karl Marx and the lumpenproletariat, Thomas Paine and gerontocracy, and David Wojnarowicz and (anti-)sovereignty. These interdisciplinary investigations bridge historical political philosophy with contemporary identity and power structures.
