Michael Tripp

Michael Tripp is an Associate Teaching Professor of Law at the University of Missouri's School of Law, where he teaches first-year legal writing courses. He joined the faculty in Fall 2024, following teaching roles at Campbell Law School and UMKC School of Law.

• JD, University of Missouri-Kansas City

His professional experience includes over two decades as a civil litigation attorney at Smith Lewis, LLP, focusing on employment law, public utility law, and medical malpractice defense. He has also served as General Counsel for MFA Oil Company.
