Dr. Michael Suppa is a researcher at the University of Bremen's Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, associated with the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. He co-founded the DLR spin-off company Roboception GmbH in 2015, serving as CEO and leading business and technology development. His academic career includes roles as coordinator of the 3D Modelling and Vision group and Head of the Perception and Cognition department, managing 45 employees in robotic perception research.
