Michael Suckow

Michael Suckow serves as Professor of Practice and Associate Head for Engagement at Purdue University's School of Aviation and Transportation Technology, where he teaches flight operations and senior capstone courses while leveraging over 8,000 flight hours and an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with three type ratings alongside Certified Flight Instructor credentials.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree that informs his interdisciplinary approach to aviation education leadership.

His research pioneers the harmonization of task-based and competency-based training frameworks to elevate graduate job readiness in aviation, utilizing iterative small-group trials to validate efficacy against FAA safety standards through evidence-based methodology refinement.
