Michael Stever

Michael Stever is an Adjunct Professor at the Thornton School of Music, University of Southern California, where he teaches Jazz Studies as a trumpet instructor. An alumnus of the University of Southern California, Stever is a renowned jazz trumpeter and composer with extensive performance experience, including the "Mancini at the Movies" tour and collaborations with artists such as Steve Miller, Brian Culbertson, Eric Marienthal, and Eric Darius.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree from University of the Arts in Philadelphia

Research & Creative Work: Stever's career spans performance, composition, and education in jazz and contemporary music. He has contributed to film soundtracks, music preparation for Ray Charles' album Ray Sings, Basie Swings, and maintains an active role in the Los Angeles Brass Ensemble.
