Michael Shaw

Dr Michael Shaw is a Lecturer in Fine Art at Loughborough University, School of Design and Creative Arts. He holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Leeds Metropolitan University and a PhD in Sculpture from the University of Gloucestershire. As a sculptor, curator, and academic, he has over 20 years of professional experience in creating site-specific installations, managing the Burghley Sculpture Garden since 2005, and teaching part-time across UK universities. His research explores sculpture, CAD/CAM technologies, and the intersection of art with systems engineering principles.
