Michael R.L. Odell is Professor of STEM Education and Roosth Endowed Chair at The University of Texas at Tyler with joint appointments in the College of Education and Psychology and College of Engineering. He serves as Co-Coordinator for the Ed.D. in School Improvement Program and Co-Director of the UTeach Program, having implemented initiatives that doubled STEM teacher production and established laboratory charter schools across multiple campuses.

- B.A. in Geoscience with Literature minor from University of Texas at Dallas
