Michael R. Strain is Professor of the Practice at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy and Director of Economic Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute, where he holds the Arthur F. Burns Chair. His research spans labor markets, public finance, social policy, and macroeconomics.
Author of 'The American Dream Is Not Dead: (But Populism Could Kill It)', Dr. Strain challenges pessimistic economic narratives through analysis of long-term outcomes for workers and households.
