Michael Neagle

Michael Neagle is an Associate Professor of History and History Program Chair at Nichols College, where he has taught since 2014. With prior teaching roles at the University of Connecticut, College of the Holy Cross, and University of Rhode Island, he emphasizes dynamic pedagogy to foster critical thinking and independent learning.

• Research Focus: U.S. foreign relations, Latin America/Caribbean, the War on Terror, and 20th-century U.S. history.
• Publications: Analyze U.S. interventions, colonialism, and cultural narratives in Latin America. Notable works include a 2019 article on Pancho Villa and the War on Terror, a 2016 book on Cuba's Isle of Pines, and contributions to historiographical projects.
