Michael Molinsky

Michael Molinsky is a Professor of Mathematics and Chair of the Division of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Psychology at the University of Maine at Farmington. He specializes in teaching general education mathematics, courses for future K-12 teachers, and advanced mathematics for majors. His academic memberships include the Mathematical Association of America and the Canadian Society for History and Philosophy of Mathematics.

Dr. Molinsky holds a Doctor of Arts (DA) in Mathematics from Idaho State University (1996), alongside a Master of Arts (1992) and Bachelor of Science (1991) in Mathematics from Northeast Missouri State University. His teaching focuses on bridging theoretical mathematics with practical educational applications.
