Michael Mior

Michael Mior is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Rochester Institute of Technology's (RIT) Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, where he has served since 2018. He directs the Data Unity Lab and teaches core courses including Principles of Data Mining, Introduction to Big Data, and Advanced Database Skills for NoSQL/NewSQL systems.

This work bridges theoretical database concepts with real-world big data scalability requirements.
