Michael Mino is an Adjunct Professor in Clemson University's Department of Automotive Engineering at the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. He holds a B.S. (1975) and M.Eng. (1976) in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA with finance emphasis from Rochester Institute of Technology (1978). With extensive industry experience as a strategic technical entrepreneur, he co-founded ORMEC Systems Corp and held executive positions at Vinton, Inc and Hansford Automation Systems.
At CU-ICAR, he leads courses on:
- Autovation - Entrepreneurship and Technology Management (Fall)
- Autovation - Intrapreneurship and Innovation Management (Spring)
His teaching focuses on practical application of business concepts in engineering contexts, drawing from his decades of experience in technology commercialization and business leadership.
