Michael McCarthy is a Lecturer in Applied Social Studies and Placement Coordinator at Carlow College, St. Patrick’s, overseeing student placements to meet CORU standards. He teaches Sociology, Communication Skills, and Practice Placement modules. Previously, he lectured at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) and held frontline social care roles across youth services, homeless support, addiction services, and residential care management.
