Dr. Michael D. Mann is the Chester Fritz Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering and Executive Director of the Institute for Energy Studies at the University of North Dakota (UND). He holds leadership roles in the College of Engineering and Mines, including former Associate Dean and Interim Dean. His research focuses on energy systems integration, renewable energy technologies, clean coal processes, and policy analysis.
