Michael Maker

Michael Maker is a Professor of Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), serving since 2024. His career spans over 15 years in visual effects and animation, with roles at prominent studios including Pixomondo, Digital Domain, and Netflix. He has contributed to high-profile projects such as Spider-Man: No Way Home, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Star Trek: Discovery.

Education: B.S. in Biology from Francis Marion University. Professional experience includes roles as Previs Lead, Tracking Supervisor, and Postvis Artist across commercials and feature films. Notable recognitions include a VES Award for Compositing in 2009.
