Michael Kinyon is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Denver, affiliated with the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. He has held this position since 2006, following a 14-year tenure at Indiana University South Bend (1992–2006). Additionally, he serves as an adjunct full professor at the Open University of Portugal and is a full member of the Center for Experimental and Stochastic Mathematics at the University of Lisbon.
