Michael Jordan

Rev. Dr. Michael Jordan is an Associate Professor of Theology at Houghton University, ordained as a Wesleyan pastor, and brings eleven years of pastoral ministry experience in United Methodist, American Baptist, and Wesleyan churches. He currently serves on the pastoral staff at Houghton Wesleyan Church and previously led Exton Community Baptist Church from 2002 to 2009. Mike is married to Jill, a mathematician and faculty member at Houghton, and they are raising five children: Grace, Jack, Lucy, Gabriel, and Anne.

As an academic and minister, Mike focuses on theology and liturgical practices, integrating his scholarly expertise with practical pastoral leadership. His research interests likely align with his educational background in liturgical studies and theological education.

Outside of his professional duties, Mike enjoys singing, solving crossword puzzles, distance running, and following Philadelphia’s professional and college sports teams.
