Michael Haney is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Delaware. From 2014 to 2020, he served as Program Director and later Program Director Emeritus at ARPA-E while on assignment from UD. His career spans roles at DARPA (2006-2010) leading integrated photonics programs and positions at George Mason University, alongside co-founding Applied Photonics, Inc. in 1998.
