Michael Graham

Professor Michael Graham, FREng, holds the Chair in Unsteady Aerodynamics at Imperial College London's Department of Aeronautics. His research advances fundamental understanding of fluid dynamics with applications in aircraft design, renewable energy, and marine systems.

Key research areas include turbulence modeling, active flow control, vortex dynamics, and aerodynamic instability. His work combines theoretical modeling, high-fidelity simulations, and experimental validation to address challenges in aerospace and mechanical engineering.

As Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, he contributes to national engineering strategy. He mentors doctoral candidates and leads collaborative projects with industry partners, focusing on aerodynamic efficiency and noise reduction technologies.
