Michael Gerdes

Michael Gerdes is an Associate Professor of Music and Director of Orchestras at San Diego State University, leading the San Diego State Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Opera Orchestra. He is recognized for his refined conducting style and commitment to contemporary music, including world premieres by living composers. His roles extend to Assistant Conductor of the La Jolla Symphony and Director of Orchestras at the Bravo International Music Academy.
