Michael Fili is a Lecturer in the Department of Music at Howard University's College of Fine Arts. He teaches courses in music theory, composition, orchestration, and advanced ear training. As a professional chorister and composer, he has performed with renowned ensembles including the National Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin State Opera Orchestra. Fili is co-founder and Artistic Director of StageFree, a DC-based chamber music collective, and previously served as Artistic Director of TEMPO at the University of Maryland.
