Michael Eigtved is an Associate Professor at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on popular European theatre forms, music theatre, event culture, and performance analysis theories including audience studies. He has edited multiple volumes on cultural methodologies and published widely on contemporary circus, theatrical innovation, and interdisciplinary performance.
