Michael E. Mueller is a Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. Since 2020, he holds a joint appointment as a Faculty Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). His research focuses on computational modeling of multi-physics turbulent flows with applications to combustion, offshore wind energy, aerosols, and plasmas, while also advancing methods in uncertainty quantification, heterogeneous computing architectures, and machine learning.
