Michael Densmore

Michael Densmore is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Management. His research investigates asset management strategies, market efficiency, and financial instruments like credit default swaps.

Education includes a PhD from York University's Schulich School of Business.

Research examines passive indexing impacts on active funds, subadvisor influence on mutual fund performance, and corporate credit rating efficacy. Published work analyzes international equity markets and liquidity management.

Honored with the CFA Society and Hillsdale Canadian Investment Research Award (2019) for industry-relevant scholarship. Teaches Theory of Finance, Investments, and Corporate Finance at undergraduate and graduate levels.
