Michael D. Cassat

Dr. Michael D. Cassat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). A UAMS College of Medicine graduate (1997), he completed residency at the UAMS Area Health Education Center in Fayetteville. His clinical practice encompasses sports medicine, orthopaedics, and primary care, with specialization in non-surgical management of musculoskeletal injuries using imaging-guided injections and physical therapy.

He maintains patient panels at multiple UAMS locations including the Orthopaedic Clinic on Colonel Glenn and the Back and Neck Clinic, while supervising residents in clinical settings. His practice focuses on athletes of all ages and individuals with acute/chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
