Dr. Michael Bursey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Augusta University's Medical College of Georgia. He holds a joint appointment with the Department of Surgery and serves as Clinical Service Chief for Emergency Medicine Critical Care and intensivist in the Shock-Trauma ICU. Dr. Bursey earned his DO from Edward Via Virginia College (2012) and BS in Biology from Roanoke College (2008). He completed residency at Augusta University and fellowships in Critical Care and Clinical Ultrasound.
