Michael Buck

Michael Buck, PhD, is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Music and Director of the Norseman Band at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He has held diverse roles in higher education, including Coordinator of Music Education, Director of Bands, and Chamber Music Coach at The College of St. Scholastica and Augsburg University.

Professional Engagement: Dr. Buck has presented peer-reviewed research at international symposia including ISAME, ISME/EAS, and CMS/ATMI. He serves as an active band/orchestra clinician across the Upper Midwest and holds leadership roles in MN CBDNA and MMEA.
