Michael Bregnsbo

Michael Bregnsbo is an Associate Professor at the Department of Culture and Language, University of Southern Denmark. With a Ph.D. from Copenhagen University (1994), his academic career spans over three decades, including roles at Odense University (now SDU) since 1995 and visiting positions at Cambridge. Active in research, teaching, and public engagement, he focuses on Danish and European political history, church history, and history of political ideas from 1500-1900.

Bregnsbo has received multiple accolades including the 2006 "Årets underviser" award and the 2022 Festskrift honoring his 60th birthday.
