Michael Arlt

Michael Arlt is a Lecturer at the University of Music Würzburg's Jazz Department since 2001. He studied at Berklee College of Music (Boston) and Amsterdam University of the Arts (Hilversum) under notable jazz educators. His work focuses on jazz guitar performance and international collaboration.

With over 40 CD productions as guitarist/composer/producer, Arlt has performed globally with artists like Paquito D'Rivera and Houston Person. His 2009 album with trio WE THREE was honored as 'CD of the Year' by Archtop-Germany. He teaches at jazz workshops including Berklee College of Music.
