Michael Anthony C. Dizon

Michael Anthony C. Dizon, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer and Co-Director of Research and Innovation at Curtin Law School, Curtin University. He holds academic roles in multiple countries, including New Zealand, the Netherlands, the UK, and the Philippines. His research focuses on law and information communication technology (ICT), cybersecurity, and the socio-legal study of technology. Dizon earned degrees from Ateneo de Manila (BA), University of the Philippines (LLB), Edinburgh (LLM with Distinction), and Tilburg (PhD).

His research interests include encryption policy, cybercrime laws, and the norms/values shaping technology regulation.
