Prof. Dr. med. Michael Albert is a Group Leader at the Interdisciplinary Pediatric Study Center (Hauner iPSC) within the Faculty of Medicine at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His research focuses on diagnosing and treating rare pediatric immune/hematologic disorders through innovative therapies including allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and autologous stem cell gene therapy. He also researches pediatric leukemia treatments and participates in clinical studies like Ped-COVID-19, TRACE, and ImmGenDC.
