Micah Rasmussen

Micah Rasmussen is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Rider University's Department of Government, Politics and Law. He serves as Director of the Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics, focusing on state political dynamics. With over two decades in public affairs, he has held senior communications roles in government and corporate sectors, including Governor McGreevey's press secretary and crisis management at Chubb and New Jersey Natural Gas.

Education: B.A. from Rider University (mentored by Dr. Rebovich), M.A. in Political Science from Eagleton Institute of Politics, Rutgers University.

Research interests emphasize political communication, public policy implementation, and civic engagement. His work spans crisis management strategies, electoral processes, and institutional governance. He founded the New Jersey Model Congress program to enhance youth civic education.
