Dr. Mica Rutschke is a faculty member at the University of Incarnate Word, serving as the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator in the School of Occupational Therapy. She holds a DHA from A.T. Still University and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas.
Research Interests: Dr. Rutschke's work focuses on leadership development, mentoring, and practice management within occupational and physical therapy. Her expertise extends to strategic planning and data analytics in senior living and outpatient therapy settings. She is passionate about advancing occupational therapy education and leadership preparation.
Publications: Her research on leadership competencies in therapy has been published in the Journal of Health and Allied Sciences NU, highlighting national trends and mentoring needs among therapy leaders.
Teaching & Service: She previously served as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and instructor at A.T.
