Mia Cheatham

Mia Cheatham is an Instructor of Agriculture at Southern Arkansas University (SAU), affiliated with the Department of Agriculture. She holds a BS in Agricultural Education from SAU and an MS in Agricultural and Extension Education from the University of Arkansas. Her expertise spans agricultural leadership, plant science, horticulture, and agronomic production.

Dr. Cheatham teaches courses such as Leadership and Communications (AGED 3003), Issues in Agriculture (AGRI 4033), and Introduction to Plant Science (PLSC 1003). She also oversees laboratory components for Horticulture and Greenhouse Management. Her office is located in Agriculture Building (AGR) 204, and she can be reached at 870-235-4346.
