Mfon Akpan

Dr. Mfon Akpan is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Accounting at Methodist University's Reeves School of Business, within the College of Business, Technology & Professional Studies. He holds a DBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, an MBA and MAFM from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a B.A. from Illinois Institute of Technology. His teaching focuses on Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Fund Accounting, with a strong emphasis on integrating technology into education and research.

Dr. Akpan's research interests span AI-driven financial forecasting, NFT valuation under accounting standards, and ethical frameworks for AI in business.
