Meysam Sarsharjeryandeh is an Associate Professor of Clinical Microbiology at Link Campus International University of Rome. His academic journey includes a PhD (2014-2018) and post-doctoral fellowship (2018-2020) in Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, and Public Health from Sapienza University of Rome. He holds an Italian National Scientific Qualification (ASN 2018/2020) as an Associate Professor in Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology (06/A3 SSD MED/07).
Research Focus: His work centers on antimicrobial strategies, host-pathogen interactions, and the antibiotic resistome. He also develops organoid models for studying intestinal and pulmonary infections.
