Mevin Hooten

Mevin Hooten is a Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin and a Fellow of the American Statistical Association. He previously held a professorship at Colorado State University and served as Assistant Unit Leader for the Colorado Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. His research focuses on Bayesian and spatio-temporal statistical methods with applications in ecology, epidemiology, and environmental science.
