Merve TUNA KAYILI

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve TUNA KAYILI is an Associate Professor and Vice Dean at the Faculty of Architecture, Karabuk University, Turkey. She holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from Gazi University (2016) and has extensive academic experience since 2009. Her research focuses on sustainable architecture, building materials technology, energy efficiency, and environmental impacts of construction materials. She has authored/co-authored over 75 publications, including articles in indexed journals like Journal of Green Building and Periodica Polytechnica-Architecture. Key awards include the 2017 Lagari Hasan Çelebi I. Proje Pazarı 1.lik Ödülü and recognition for academic excellence in 2007. She advises postgraduate students on topics like energy-efficient retrofitting and sustainable material use. Her contributions span academic leadership roles, including department headships and organizing international conferences like ReseArch'20. She actively engages in projects addressing urban sustainability, waste-based materials, and indoor environmental quality.
