Mert Gur

Dr. Mert Gur is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on computational biophysics, molecular dynamics simulations, and the functional dynamics of biomolecular systems. He leads projects on motor proteins like dynein, drug binding mechanisms, and AI applications in medicine.

Research interests include molecular dynamics, protein dynamics, and interdisciplinary approaches combining computational methods with cryo-EM. Recent work explores AI in medical diagnostics and predictive analytics in healthcare systems.
