Merim Dzaferagic

Merim Dzaferagic is a Research Fellow at the CONNECT Centre in Trinity College Dublin. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (2011) and Master’s Degree (2013) in telecommunications engineering from the University of Sarajevo, followed by a PhD (2015–2019) at CONNECT under Dr. Nicola Marchetti.

Research Focus: Merim applies Complex Systems Science to telecommunications networks, studying how local interactions among network components lead to emergent global behaviors that enhance network performance. His work bridges theoretical analysis with practical applications in next-generation network design.

Affiliation: He is actively engaged with the CONNECT Centre, a leading research institution at Trinity College Dublin dedicated to advanced telecommunications and networking research.
