Dr. Meredith Goldsmith is Professor of English at Ursinus College, specializing in late 19th and early 20th-century American literature. She teaches courses on American literature, the New Woman, and literary methods, and contributes to the Common Intellectual Experience program. Her research examines women's writing of the interwar period, ethnic American literature, histories of consumer culture, and theories of gender and sexuality.
