Her work contributes to the foundational understanding of robust and efficient computation in networked environments.
Prof. Parter has been actively involved in the theoretical computer science community, serving on the program committees of top-tier conferences such as STOC, FOCS, PODC, DISC, ICALP, and ESA. She has held leadership roles as Program Chair for SOSA 2024, SOSA 2023, and SIROCCO 2022, and serves on the Steering Committees of DISC (2019–2022) and SIROCCO (2022–).
She has received significant research support through competitive grants, including:
- European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant DISTRES (2020–2025)
- Israeli Science Foundation (Grant 2084/18)
- NSF-BSF (Grant 713043)
Prof. Parter has also co-organized academic events such as the Weizmann-Warwick Meeting 2018 and chaired ADGA 2018. While no specific advisees are listed, her leadership in research and program organization highlights her growing influence in the field.
