Merav Argov is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Urban Planning and Policy, University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She teaches in the MUPP (Master of Urban Planning and Policy) and MCD (Master of Community Development) programs. Her research, supported by a Cornell Grant, explores how community design like Lathrop Homes can foster dialogue among mixed-income residents through art activation projects. She is a co-founder and Director of Fieldwork Collaborative Projects, which integrates art into public infrastructure to enhance civic engagement globally.
Merav’s expertise lies at the nexus of urban design, community development, and the arts.
